New ASI, where does the family go?

My husband is going to be gone for 8 months for another ASI? I was told I was going to have to move before he leaves in August. After his ASI we have orders for Hawaii. Will I move there first or have to move somewhere else even though the report date isn't till June of 2012. Phase one is is TX for 4 months then NC for another 4 months. Any experiences would be greatly appreciated.
