Me and my boyfriend are into so many different things?

Ok guys so My boyfriend and I just started our relationship exactly a week ago on valentines day. I am vietnamese and mexican due to the fact my mom is mexican and my father is vietnamese, My boyfriend is full mexcan and he already told me he loves me, i told him i loved him to because i didn't want him to feel bad, i kinda got pissed off because i hate when guys say i love and they don't mean it. So anywaysss guys, today we kissed for the first time. I could tell he was nervous, and everyone tells me i could do better than him, I like him alot but idk, he is so funny and so great but he's kinda clingy. I think im starting to fall for him. He didicated this song to me and it's a mexican song by valentin elizalde called "te quiero asi" (for those of you who understand) im not really into mexican music im more of the indie pop/rock type of girl idk how we became interested in each other being complete opposites but we did. I hope he can accept me for who i am. But there is this guy that likes me at church and he is cuter than my boyfriend but i don't get fooled by looks but he's also cool and is into the same things im into but guys bottom line what should i do or any advice on your point of view? thanks (:
